Schiaparelli is a historic fashion house founded in Paris in 1927 by Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli. Known for her bold, avant-garde designs, Schiaparelli was a major figure in fashion during the 1930s and 1940s, often blending art and fashion through collaborations with surrealist artists like Salvador Dalí and Jean Cocteau. She introduced many innovative elements to women’s fashion, such as the trompe-l'œil sweater, the use of shocking pink, and unconventional materials. The brand became synonymous with creativity and eccentric elegance. After closing in 1954, the house remained dormant for decades before being revived in the 2010s. Today, Schiaparelli continues to operate from its original address at Place Vendôme in Paris, producing haute couture collections under the artistic direction of Daniel Roseberry since 2019.Brand Details
