Will Chinese like Kate Spade's New "Chinese food Take-out" Bag?

Inspired by Kate Spade designer Deborah Lloyd's recent trips to Shanghai and Tokyo, a Chinese food take-out bag was introduced by Kate Spade on the NYFW.

That bag immediately got the Chinese media attention. Someone commented on Sina Weibo, “That fast food case turned into a bag makes me laugh so hard that I want to cry. Later, I can go out carrying a water bucket”. Another commenter joked, “Once you’re done eating Chinese food in the United States, you can carry the container down the street and be the most fashionable!”

We understood Kate Spade's emphasis on the Asian market, but perhaps the head of design in Kate Spade needs to put more efforts to understand the consumers first.
