Milan based premium brand Prada has opened its first store in Saint Petersburg, Russia which is located in the heart of the city's shopping district Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street. The brand set over 400 sqm, showcasing men's leather goods and accessories collections and women's ready-to-wear, shoes, leather goods and accessories collections.
The interior layout of the store consists in two spacious areas designed by Italian architect Roberto Baciocchi which features black and white-chequered marble floor, green fabric-clad walls, green velvet sofas and polished-steel and perspex tables that project of Prada's global identity.
Prada currently has more than 516 stores and operates in 70 countries through its directly operated stores, franchising stores and a network of selected high-end multi-brand stores and luxury department stores. The brand plans to open more than new 80 stores until the end of 2015, according to its announcement in last October.
