The Italian group Max Mara Fashion Group S.r.l. holds the brands Max Mara, Weekend by Max Mara, Sportmax, Max& Co., Marella, Pennyblack, Marina Rinald, and iBlues has been present in the Asian market since 1988.
Max Mara has today more than 238 stores in China, 42 in Taiwan, 5 in Macau and 36 in Hong Kong, and their objective is to reach 320 units in Great China by the end of 2012.
This opening of the new flagships tore in Hong Kong, has to do with the group strategy to re-assure their position in the Asian Market. The new store is located in Central Shooping and Financial district, the collections carried are Max Mara, Sportmax, S Max Mara, Max Mara Accessories, Atelier and Max Mara Elegante.
The retail and visual merchandising of the store is inspired in “the natural discovery of a tale” as explained by Duccio Grassi Architects Studio. Together with the opening special luxury edition items will be sale, and for the first time the “Coats Collection Fashion Show" will be done in Hong Kong in addition to the one every year takes place in Milan.
