Adidas Plans of Spreading Popularity in the Indian Market

Adidas German active wear brand is planning to increase its popularity in the Indian market through endorsing several cricket players such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Those collaborations will be featured in international events such as the FIFA and the T20 world cup tournaments of 2014.

Reebok also under the umbrella of the Adidas group is undergoing a revamping for its brand image in the Indian market to be repositioned as an exclusive fitness brand. The strategy also targets the endorsement of celebrities such as the Bollywood actor John Abraham.
