Marni Group ended 2023 with total revenue surpassing €160 million, reflecting a slight growth of 0,7% compared to the previous year. However, rising costs weighed on the brand’s profitability, with operating income turning negative and net income recording a significant loss. These results come amidst leadership changes and continued investments in sustainability and market expansion.

Brand Updates and Strategic Developments

Marni collaborated with acclaimed artist Erykah Badu for a special Fall capsule collection in 2023. Badu, an icon in music and fashion, brought her unique creativity to the collaboration, further enhancing Marni’s cultural relevance and appeal to a younger demographic.

Under the creative direction of Francesco Risso since 2016, Marni has maintained its distinctive aesthetic. Risso was recently recognised at the GQ Global Creativity Awards 2024 for his influential work.

Leadership saw a major shift in 2024 with the appointment of Stefano Rosso as CEO, leveraging his extensive experience within the OTB Group. This strategic move aims to strengthen operational efficiencies and drive Marni's growth. Rosso’s leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in navigating the brand’s challenges.
