Creativity, energy, sincerity, and especially the desire to make women more beautiful are the main characteristics of this Brand. Sandro embodies the innate but easy glamour of Paris’ left bank. Cool but polished, the brand has gained a loyal following that has seen it thrive since its was founded by husband and wife Didier and Evelyne Chatrite in 1984. Marked by his childhood in Morocco, Evelyne was immediately attracted by fashion thanks to her grandfather and aunt, who were shirt-maker and couturier and both worked in the traditional way. Influenced by them, a few years later she started to make her first dresses, then only sold in multibrand stores. In 2004, she opened the first shop with her own name in Rue Vieille du Temple in the heart of the Marais, which had an immediate success. It has grown to be a label known for feminine, versatile dressing. In 2008, Evelyne's son Ilan, joined the family in the adventure of creating the menswear line. He is the man behind the seasonal collection of revisited classics with a chic edge.The Sandro Men’s shops first launched in the Marais and Saint Germain des Pres areas.
