The clothing and complement brand “nice things”, part of the Spanish company Intermalla S.L., based in Barcelona, was set up in 1995 by Paloma Santaolalla and Miquel Lanna. With over 25 years’ experience in the textile industry, “nice things” markets its products through three distribution channels: its own shops, franchises and multi-brand stores. After opening its first shop in Barcelona, it has grown continuously, and now has 55 single-brand shops and 1,000 multi-brand points of sale in countries such as France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom and Greece. In 2011, “nice things” launched a new brand, “nice things mini”, aimed at the smallest members of the family, so girls aged 0 to 12 can wear the same patterns as their mums. It also includes a line of stationery and school materials. Since 2012, it has added a new business division, opening an on-line store for girls, which will soon include women’s collections. Attention to detail, femininity, originality, comfort, originality and, above all, humour and optimism transmitted through the colours and patterns are the watchwords of “nice things”. A brand of clothing and complements designed for women of all ages, from 0 to 80, who want their own style while feeling comfortable and special at all times.
