Jottum is the creation of Dutch designer Anky Groothof. Early in her career Anky worked as a costume designer in theatre and opera, acquiring influences that can be seen in Jottum's clothing today. She soon swapped theatre for her true love, children's fashion. Having grown up in a family that had to count its pennies, Anky was inspired to create what she could only dream of as a child, elegant girl's dresses made from exquisite fabrics with unique designs.
