In 1936 IMEC began its activity in the area between Bergamo and Lecco, producing nylon underwear. It soon became a leading firm in the underwear clothing sector by investing great efforts in the creation of petticoats and nightwear; memorable were the TV ads in the '60s. In 1966 IMEC started producing new brands thus enhancing its manufacturing lines. Lingerie, swimsuits and beachwear have made a new statement of both IMEC's quality and vast assortment. In 2005 the firm was bought by Tex Zeta S.p.A, - Zambaiti Group, hence merging the existing brands and maintaining the products' expertise, the attention to quality and care for service.Brand Details
