Andrés Caballero, born in 1981 in México, is the creative mind behind the San Andres Milano brand. His training background is among the various schools of fashion design and couture; he started studying in México City where he won a scholarship to the Marangoni School of Milan and then, a postgraduate course in Haute Couture at the Paris American Academy in Paris.

Andrés Caballero, a great fan of the designers of the past, with a real soul of Couturier, loves to design and realize hand-made clothes using a tailored moulage technique and, at the same time, the traditional modeling. Pins, scissors, needle and thread are everyday tools in his professional life. He calls himself a traditional tailor rather than a modern fashion designer.

The San Andrès Milano Collection was founded in February of 2006 introducing a small collection of 30 pieces during the fashion week in Milan and, thanks to cuts and trims wise made by his own hand, immediately gets excellent feedback from Japanese buyers and Italian press. In 2008 the brand takes a part in the “Fashion Incubator” project organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, and a finalist to Who Is On Next? 2012 the prestigious project organized by VOGUE Italy.
