We believe in the combining of techniquesand materials- acetate, metal & leather to create a special handmade product.All of our sunglasses are named after famous pairs & each range is designedaround a location & era that evokes an endless summer & eternal blue skies. pared product & components / Components are chosen with a longlife span in mind. The frame is handmade withJapanese high quality 6mm acetatesheets which is lightweight, flexible, & hypo allergenic.Pared offers a selection of both solid, gradient & mirror CR39 lenses. They arelightweight, shatterproof & scratch resistant with a great clarity of vision. All mirrorlenses have a hydrophobic coating that repels water and dirt. Our lenses meet thestrictest Australian & NZ standards as well as International standards. They offer aUV400 protection and 100% UVA & UVB protection.All metal is either titanium or stainless steel and always nickel free. We use Germanrubber dipped screws to ensure a strong and durable hinge. designer bio / Samantha Stevenson is the founder & designer of pared, whichlaunched in 2012. The label has established itself as a boutique brand with a strongfollowing in Australia, New Zealand & Asia. The label is based between Sydney &Bali where the island lifestyle is a constant source of inspiration. Trained at COFA(UNSW) in design, Samantha worked for ksubi as an eyewear designer for five yearsbefore embarking on the pared journey.Brand Details
