Klorane Laboratories’ philosophy is based on a passion for plants and nature. The Phytofilière®, the only chain of plant expertise of its kind in the world, was born of this philosophy and guarantees high levels of quality, efficacy and safety. Plants are central to all Klorane Laboratories business, and are the reason why the products are so effective. Explorers of the plant kingdom, there is not one extract that has not been studied to discover its potential benefits. Through their products, Klorane Laboratories convey a number of values: authenticity, simplicity and safety. The plant world comes under threat every day. Klorane Laboratories considers respect for this heritage to be of fundamental importance, and we actively work to protect nature by virtue of our Corporate Foundation. The Klorane Institute strives to make young people more aware about botany through educational initiatives, offers its support to all those sharing its vocation (thesis awards, research grants, etc.), working in close collaboration with dispensing pharmacists (information posters and brochures), creating botanical sites, and organizing botany days and visits to gardens throughout France. Raising cosmetics to the status of pharmaceutical products, Pierre Fabre Laboratories uses its scientific expertise to answer a wide variety of different needs. This has resulted in the establishment of numerous partnerships with public research bodies, and in particular with the CNRS, Universities, and INSERM. The Group owns a number of research sites, such as the Toulouse Institute for Sciences and Technologies in Medicine (ISTMT) targeting natural substances, and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois for immunology. Many international clinical studies have been performed. Research and development is centred around two main structures: the Research and Development Centre situated at Vigoulet-Auzil (Haute-Garonne), and a Research and Evaluation Centre situated at Toulouse (Hotel Dieu). As a direct result of their will to continually increase their understanding of the skin and its components, Pierre Fabre Laboratories will sign a tripartite agreement with the Paul Sabatier University and the University Hospital (CHU). This agreement is the basis for the creation of the European Centre for Skin Research situated at the Hôtel Dieu Saint-Jacques (Toulouse, France).Brand Details
