Gianfranco Reni was born in Verona Italy in 1980. He graduated with a degree in fashion design from the Istituto di Moda Burgo di Milano. After graduating he was chosen for a 6 months internship in Alexander Mc Queen’s design studio. In 2009 after finishing his internship he returned to Mexico where he worked as a fashion and image coordinator for the two most important television networks, in Mexico, Latin America and the Spanish speaking U.S. market, Televisa and T.V. Azteca. Gianfranco has a wide following including of private clients as well as Mexican and international celebrities. His designs have appeared on many red carpets and have been nominated numerous times as the “best dressed”. His style is influenced by European fashion, always with a theatrical touch but well done for the commercial market a, focusing on small productions and unique works of high couture, specializing in experimenting with new techniques and construction using new materials which give his designs a distinct and personalized style for his clients. Recently opened his showroom and a studio to receive clients and where his design team works passionately to develop new collections and concepts of fashion not only deigns high couture but also designs shoes, accessories and jewelry. As Gianfranco develops his career there is no doubt that he will continue surprising his clients, critics and the press. Every time Gianfranco presents a new collection it is proof that Mexico is on par with other world fashion centers.
