From 1655 until the middle of the 20th century, the Badollet family was an uninterrupted dynasty of watchmakers. From father to son, from Geneva to London and also Philadelphia, these watchmaking craftsmen designed exceptional watches that made their mark on history.
With its rich heritage and valuable family archives, Badollet looks back over some 250 years of important historical events, and invites to take a journey back through time.
Sitting at the peak of the watchmaking pyramid, Badollet Instruments of Time beat to the rhythm of exceptional mechanical movements. From the tourbillon minute repeater and the meteorite tourbillon to the tourbillon single push-piece chronograph, all forms of Badollet mechanical calibres feature the handcrafted finishes that are characteristic of luxury watchmaking, in the true sense of the term, and which confer added value. Serrated, cut, countersunk and profile-turned using the latest cutting-edge machines to guarantee an extraordinary level of precision, all components of the movement are then patiently decorated – bevelled, polished, circular-grained and engraved – and assembled by hand by our master watchmakers who, alone, are capable of accomplishing such meticulous work that is of such a rare and recognised complexity.
