It all began in the late 1970’s with a handful of raw Sandawana emeralds. Dad, Riccardo, engineer , designer, sailor, and Mom, Maria Greca, doctor and” great creative dreamer” were driven by a constant desire to transform these precious stones into a unique object. The challenge began and, thanks to Riccardo’s craftsmanship and Maria Greca’s creativity, soon the raw stones were turned into harmonious shapes, thus to become special jewels. The energy to follow their passions, their creativity, their love for beauty, resulted in the creation of the family’s company, MARIAGRECA. The collections rolled out quickly, from ancient Etruscan-style jewelry and unique refined objects to the modern collections made of titanium and carbonic fiber and, because of its connections with Italian and international companies, MARIAGRECA was able to fly to new levels of fantasy without boundaries. Domitilla and Roberto have always followed their parents’ adventure since childhood, breathing every day the explosive joy of the transformation of the materials, and grew up in the midst of the taste for and the art of antique Italian workmanship.
