March 2002 brought the launch of Cortazar’s first eponymous 14-piece eveningwear collection, and with the personal support of Bloomingdale’s executive Kalman Ruttenstein, pieces from this first collection were featured in the windows in the flagship store in New York City. In 2007 Cortazar was appointed chief creative director of French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro. His collections there were widely supported by top fashion publications including Vogue, WWD, ELLE, IHT, and The New York Times. Over the past years Cortazar has worked in Paris to build a unique vision for his own brand; fusing his Latin heritage with a distinctly modern and feminine approach to dressing.Brand Details
