Cucinelli is a distinguished, top quality cashmere company creating collections for both men and women. 1978: the company is born. The production of colored cashmere knitwear for women begins. 1985: the company purchases the fourteenth-century castle of Solomeo, Perugia, and after two-year renovation its headquarter is housed there. 1994: the first menswear collection is launched and the first store in Porto Cervo is inaugurated. 2002: the first total-look collection for both men and women is launched and the distribution consolidated through both multi-brand and flagship stores in the major capital cities and exclusive locations world-wide. 2009: the shoes collection is launched. 2012: the brand is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. Thanks to the great interest shown by the investors, the demand overcomes 18 times the supply.
