Leslie Blodgett transformed the beauty industry with the launch of bareMinerals in 1995, introducing the masses to the skin-improving benefits of mineral makeup. In 1997, Leslie began selling bareMinerals’ first line of products on QVC. In the 2010's bareMinerals launched some of our most iconic innovations, like COMPLEXION RESCUE® Tinted Moisturizer, BAREPRO® Liquid Foundation and our SKINLONGEVITY® collection. Shiseido acquired bareMinerals in 2010 in a deal valued at $1.7 billion, and picked up the other two properties (Laura Mercier and Buxom) in 2016 for an estimated $248 million.
