Aguaclara was first conceived twenty five years ago, back in 1989 in Lima Peru, by the siblings Jorge and Liliana Villalobos. These singular two launched their company with great enthusiasm and a vision: to design custom-made swimwear. They started with a small manufacturing workshop, making personalized garments. In a short time, Aguaclara became very popular in their market and has grown to the leading brand it is today. Liliana, as Creative Director, has used her talent to shape the essence of the brand. At its core is its ethnic tendency, rooted in Amazon and Andean influences. She is a restless traveler, always looking for new trends and state-of-the-art technology. Jorge, as Executive Director, handles the Administrative and Strategic Planning areas. The Aguaclara Collections, created by Liliana, are exhibited at important trade shows worldwide. Her unique, one of a kind pieces, are designed with highly elaborate embroidery, exclusively developed prints and hand-made natural accessories specially crafted for the garments. These elements result in the brand's outstanding feel, developing a unique style and an exotically sophisticated sensation. To-date, the company exports to over 40 countries, mainly United States, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Puerto Rico, Panama, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Dubai, Russia, Japan, among others. Aguaclara, official Miss England swimwear for several years, is usually featured on the cover of such magazines as Ocean Drive and Las Vegas Magazine. Its collections are visible in the world-renowned magazines, such as Collezione Beachwear and Diva, among others. Always in the forefront, Aguaclara is the leader swimwear company in Peru.
